MARIE GEAN IRVIN
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 27, 1928 the daughter of the late Jim William and Josie Hollin Gean.
On July 2, 1949 she was united in marriage to Willie Ray Irvin, who preceded his wife in death on August 9, 2012.
Mrs. Irvin was an inspector for Savannah Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ. Mrs. Irvin enjoyed gardening, flowers and most of all loved playing with her grandchildren.
She departed this life on February 8, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 12 days.
Mrs. Irvin is survived by her three daughters, Jan Moore and her husband Freddie of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee, Glenda Phillips and her husband James of Savannah, Tennessee and Pat Shelby and her husband Jim of Savannah, Tennessee.
six grandchildren, Brian Moore and his wife Heather, Chasity Harrison and her husband Brad, Chris White and his wife Cindy, Justin White and his wife Stephanie, Kendra Perry and her husband Gene and Tim Shelby
11 great grandchildren, Lauryn Harrison, Hardin Harrison, Catherine Harrison, Tyler Moore, Riley Moore, Eli White, Rachel White, Jonathan White, Jamison White, Kaile Perry and Gavin Perry
two sisters, Lena Austin of Memphis, Tennessee and Margaret Paulk of Corinth, Mississippi
and one sister in law, Ruby Gean of Savannah, Tennessee
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Owen Gean and Gilbert Gean and four sisters, Nora Cromwell, Carrie Cromwell, Mathalene Carr and Lucille Cromwell
