Marie Gallaher

Funeral services for Marie Clanton Gallaher, age 92, of Waynesboro, TN will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007 at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro with Cal Hampton officiating. Interment will follow in Gallaher Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.



Marie Clanton Gallaher, a native of Wayne County, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at West Meade Place in Nashville. She was born February 15, 1915 in Clifton, TN to the late James Henry and Minnie Ethel Roberts Clanton. Mrs. Gallaher was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Gallaher, sons, David and James Noah Gallaher, a daughter, Doris Sauls, and a sister, Irene Dicus Lay.



Mrs. Gallaher was a homemaker and had worked at Trace Manufacturing and Elk Duck River Community Association. She was a member of Green River Baptist Church.



She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Gallaher Gobbell of Nashville, TN
