Marie Fields

Marie Fields departed this life on Monday, August 15, 2016, at the age of 88 years, 7 months, and 8 days. She was born in Scotts Hill, Tennessee on January 7, 1928, the daughter of the late J. Gid and Bessie Woody Bingham. She was united in marriage to Freeman Fields, who preceded her in death on November 28, 1987.

Marie attended Ebenezer Methodist Church while growing up. She was an inspector for HIS Sportswear in Saltillo, Tennessee for 32 years. Marie was a very loving mother, grandmother, and was loved by all she met.

She is survived by her children, Donald Fields and wife, Gloria, Francis Rainey and husband, Darrin, Sandra Tucker, Gail Harrington and husband, Lynn, Sylvia Price and special friend, Carl Burns all of Saltillo, Tennessee; grandchildren, Mike Fields, Mitzi Fields, Michelle Brewer, Jeremy Tucker, Jana Moore, Chris Harrington, Brandon Harrington, Joanie Shreve, and Hannah Christenson; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Helen Creasy of Sardis, Tennessee; brother, Bob Bingham of Reagan, Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by thirteen siblings.
