Mrs. Ervin died early Saturday morning at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.
She was born in Hardeman County, the daughter of the late James Felix and Mary Eliza Goff Moss. She was one of fourteen children and the last surviving sibling. On February 4, 1932, she married Everett E. Ervin and he passed away July 19, 1993. She worked at Western Mental Health Institute as a nurse's aid and also operated the "Little Bargain House" with her husband for many years. She was a member of the Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.
She leaves two sons, George Boyd Ervin, Sr. of Bolivar and Larry Wayne Ervin of Brownsville; 7 grandchildren, Wade (Chrisite) Stinson, Susan Ervin (Mike) Skibba, Cindy (Thomas) Green, Christie (Ted) Sneed, Becky (Greg Barkley) Ervin, George Boyd (Angela) Ervin, Jr. and Christopher Everett (Ashley) Ervin; 5 great-grandchildren, Hunter Blake Sneed, Joshua Lynn Gaggley, Amanda Gail Bishop, Zachary Hornsby and Heather Nicole Sneed.
In addition to her parents and her 13 brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Maggie Nell Ervin Stinson; a son, James Floyd Ervin; and 2 grandchildren, Pamela Lynn Ervin and Gina Marie Ervin.
