Marian Marie Hansen Richardswas born in Greenville, Michigan on April 25, 1921 the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Christenson Hansen.Mrs. Richards had worked for the Michigan State Highway Department in the office. She had also worked at Richard's General Store and as a night manager for Wesley's Apartments in Adamsville, Tennessee for 12 years. Mrs. Richards moved to Savannah, Tennessee in 1971 and had also lived in Morris Chapel, Tennessee for 17 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bowling, water skiing, swimming, and doing embroidery work. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.Mrs. Richards departed this life on June 4, 2010 at the age of 89 years, 1 month, 10 days.She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Lavender and husband Robert of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Bobby Lavender, Rhonda Springer, Blaine Lavender, John-Paul Lavender, and Marilyn Rebstock; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, LaRue Risdon on February 5, 1968; 2nd husband, Bill Richards on February 5, 1987; 2 brothers, Russell and Chet Hansen.
