Maria "Pili" Brewer

Maria (Pili) Brewer, born on March 19, 1944, in Barcelona, Spain, touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness. Her union with Tommy Brewer was a testament to love that transcends time, even after his passing on February 24, 2009.

Known as "Pili" to those dear to her heart, she spent many years of her life working at various apparel companies until each one closed. She worked in the finishing departments at Garan, RiverHeights and Selmer Apparel. She retired from DRI in Selmer, TN. 

Her hard work and commitment were only surpassed by the joy she found in the company of loved ones. Time spent with family and friends brought immeasurable happiness to her soul.

A faithful member of First Baptist Church in Adamsville, TN, Maria's faith was an anchor that guided her through life's journeys. 

On June 24, 2024 in Adamsville, Tennessee, at the age of 80 Years, 3 Months, and 5 Days, Pili peacefully embarked on her final journey. Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family members: nephews and nieces, David Brewer and wife Marsha of Stantonville, TN; Stacey Tyler and husband Todd of Savannah, TN; Robert Brewer and wife Tara of Eads, TN; along with great nieces and nephews, Hayley Beth Brewer of Stantonville, TN; Billy Brewer and wife Susan of Bartlett, TN; Alec Brewer and wife Hayley of Lakeland, TN; as well as 4 great-great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Antonio Gonzales of Barcelona, Spain; brother-in-law, Randall Brewer and wife Vickie of Adamsville, TN; sister-in-law, Jeanne Brewer Carnes of Lakeland, TN.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by nephew, Richard Charles Brewer; niece, Angela Brewer Wiley.
