Maria Louise Huddleston

Maria Louise (Mama Mia) Locaso Huddleston of Waynesboro, TN was born August 7, 1927 in Stockton, CA, the daughter of the late Dominico and Lena LaPadula Locaso.

Mrs. Huddleston was a homemaker, a member of the Victory Outreach Church, and a foster parent for many years. She grew up in Stockton, CA and had lived in Long Beach, CA before moving to Waynesboro, TN.

Mrs. Huddleston departed this life on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 11 Months, 21 Days.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen McDonald of Waynesboro, TN; two stepsons, Shawn and Robert Huddleston both of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren, Tracy Shubin, Julie Vandal, Jack and David Marlow, Mike McDonald, and Jason Shelby; great-grandchildren, Amanda Scalf, Autumn and Aryanna Hernandez, and Priscilla Shubin; great-great-grandchildren, Gunner Scalf, Trevor Lynn, and Jarod Marlow.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huddleston was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Lee Huddleston; a daughter, Charlotte Marlow; grandchildren, Michael Shubin, Shelley McDonald; brothers, Jim Locaso, Joe Locaso; a sister, Theresa Metzger.

Memorial services will be Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Michael Mathers officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 2:30 pm until service time at the funeral home.
