Marguerite Phillips

Marguerite Franks Phillipswas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 14, 1929 the daughter of the late Riley and Jessie Dobbins Franks.On October 21, 1949 she was united in marriage to Lowell Phillips, who survives.Mrs. Phillips retired from 1st National Bank as a Bank Teller and was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ.She departed this life Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the age of 82 years, 5 months, 11 days.Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband, Lowell Phillips of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Tommy Phillips of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Janie Phillips Shutt of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Susan Rasbach, Spence Shutt, Sam Shutt, Nick Phillips, Hannah Phillips; 2 great grandchildren, Cecily Rasbach and Liz Rasbach; brother in law, Paul Phillips of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Claudine Script of Memphis, Tennessee.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Earl and Ralph Franks.
