Marguerite Ruth Crumley Moore

Marguerite Ruth Crumley Moore was born on May 16, 1945 in the Neapolis Community in Maury County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Charles Allen and Ola Mai Walls Crumley.

Marguerite was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She began working as a seamstress in the early 1990s and over the years she worked for Brown Shoe Company, Cross Country Apparel, Angelica, Garan Manufacturing, and Selmer Apparel. Marguerite loved her family so much. One highlight of her life was sharing a birthday with her grandson, Caleb. She loved her great granddaughter Ella with all of her heart.

Marguerite Ruth Crumley Moore departed this life on August 23, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 3 months, and 7 days.

She is survived by her companion of 50 plus years, Dwite Edward Moore of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Tonya Plunkett and her husband Jerry of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Mildred Prince of Shelbyville, Tennessee; brother, Ran Crumley of Shelbyville, Tennessee; grandson, Caleb Alan Kilburn of Savannah, Tennessee; and great granddaughter, Gabriella (Ella) Maelyn Kilburn.

In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Kaye Moore; sister, Marie Smith; and brothers, Bobby Crumley and Tommy Crumley.
