Marguerite Dunaway

Marguerite Harris Dunaway was born November 4, 1912 in Selmer, Tennessee the daughter of the late Elijah Thomas and Minnie Richards Harris.She was united in marriage to the late, Hayes Dunaway.Mrs. Dunaway was a retired teacher from the McNairy County School System, member of the First Baptist Church in Selmer, TN, member of the retired Teachers Association and she had 5000 hours of volunteer work at the McNairy County Regional Hospital Auxilary.Mrs. Dunaway departed this life on January 22, 2007 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 94 Years, 2 Months, 18 Days. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Holmes of Cordova, TN; two grand daughters, Abbey and Laurie Holmes.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Dunaway was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Harris.
