Margie Ruth Locke

Margie Ruth Locke was born January 19, 1937 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late James Dee Hicks and Ethel Smith Hicks. 

Throughout her 87 years, Margie embodied the virtues of hard work, dedication, and care for her home and family. She took great pride in keeping an immaculate home and yard. Margie found joy in music and had a particular fondness for square dancing.

Mrs. Locke departed this life on November 16, 2024 in Iuka, Mississippi at the age of 87 Years, 9 Months, 28 Days.

She is survived by two sisters, Helen Wagster and Linda Prater both of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by a son, Steve Kirk; a sister, Addie Patrick Logan; four brothers: Doice Hicks, Vernon Hicks, Wendell Hicks, Elvis Hicks.
