MARGIE ANN GOBER JENKINS



Was born in Pascogoula, Mississippi on March 20, 1945 the daughter of the late William Noonan and Raney Lee Bell Curtis Gober McAnally.



She was the granddaughter of the late James Harve Gober and Mary Emmaline Floyd Gober and Johnston Albert Curtis and Josie Smith Curtis.



Ms. Jenkins was reared in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, where she attended Arnold Grammar School and Waller High School. She was employed at Andes Candies, Inc., before moving in 1965 with her mother and step-father, H. O. “Mac” McAnally to Counce, Tennessee. Margie was a retiree of Genesco Shoe Corporation in Iuka, Mississippi. She was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church.



Ms. Jenkins departed this life on January 15, 2007 at the McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 26 days.



She is survived by four children, Debra Lisa McAnally of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Kimberly Ann Jenkins Caldwell of Byhalia, Mississippi, Timothy Wayne Townley of Savannah, Tennessee and Mary Ann Jenkins Davis of Bethel Springs, Tennessee.



7 grandchildren, Jennifer-Ann McAnally and Jonathan-Eric Carlyle McAnally of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Courtney Leigh Caldwell, James Cameron Caldwell and Katherine Elizabeth Caldwell of Byhalia, Mississippi, Clinton Chase Townley and Catherine Claire Townley, both of Savannah, Tennessee.



She is survived by four siblings, Bobby Joe Gober of Counce, Tennessee, Clara Gober Tyson May of Harrisville, Mississippi, Bonnie Gober Crocker of Pearl, Mississippi and Carolyn Ruth Gober of Selmer, Tennessee.



Two aunts also survive, Rudean Curtis Seaton of Savannah, Tennessee and Ruby Gober Densmore of Greensboro, North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.



Preceding her in death were her parents and stepfather, her brother W. T. Gober, her niece Bonnie Faye Tyson and her nephew Richard Curtis Gober.
