Margie Lee Jackson

Margie Lee Jackson, 83, of Bolivar, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at Hardin County General Hospital.



She retired from Western Mental Health Institute as a dietary supervisor. Ms. Jackson was born February 21, 1922 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Jim and Alice Farris Smith and lived here all of her life. She was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church near Bolivar.



Services were 1 PM Monday, October 10, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Doug Baker officiating. Burial was in Parrans Chapel Cemetery.



Survivors include daughter, Janice Smithson of Saltillo; son, Kent Jackson of Jackson; two sisters, Geraldine Hadley of Bolivar and Lillie Mae Hillard of Whiteville; two brothers, Farris Smith of Lake Station, Ind. and Otho Smith of Whiteville; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
