Mrs. Davis passed away Sunday afternoon at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of Harlan Davis, who died in 1998, she was a homemaker. She was born in Pinson, daughter of the late Alfred and Esther Callis Stack and lived all of her life here. She loved gardening, yard work and 'fixing things'. Mrs. Davis was a Methodist in belief.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Tranum of Bolivar; a brother, James Stack of Bolivar; and a sister, Doris Stalling of Memphis. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann York and Rubye Eliff and six brothers, Howard, Wilton, Ramon, William, Thomas and Curtis Stack.
