Margie Ollie Canaday

December 17, 1913 — January 18, 2007

She was born and reared in Sweetlips Community of Chester County, daughter of the late Sam and Washa Estella Staton Bullman. She attended Chester County Schools. She was married to Travis Canaday in 1938. They made their home at Enville all their married life, where they farmed. She worked at Salant & Salant Mfg. for about fifteen years.

She was a member of the Enville First Untied Methodist Church, a member of the Sardis Order of the Eastern Star and had served as an officer for many years, the Enville Home Demonstration Club, and the Women’s Society of Christian Fellowship at the Methodist Church. She loved to crochet, gardening and quilting with the Enville Quilting Club.



She is survived by a sister-in-law Opal Canaday of Enville; a host of nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her husband Travis Canaday.
