Ann Williams

Margaret Ann Williams, 84, of Booneville, MS, passed away on May 26, 2023. She was born on September 2, 1938, in Iuka, MS, to Harris and Grace Carroll. 

Ann was the Class of 1956 valedictorian at South Side High School (Hardin County, TN). She enjoyed playing card games with family and solving word puzzles in her free time. 

She was a devoted member of Oak Hill Christian Church (Corinth, MS). She was happiest surrounded by family and friends and always willing to help others. 

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Ben Williams, and their children, Sherry of Atlanta, GA, Greg of Atlanta, GA, Casey (Jessica) of Vicksburg, MS, Frank (Leanne) of Corinth, MS, and Brian of Walls, MS. She is also survived by her sisters, Stella Ray of Spring City, TN, and Linda Ard (Dwain) of Tupelo, MS, as well as her six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Harris and Grace Carroll, Ann was preceded in death by her siblings, Jeanette Patterson, Myra Byrd, Neil Carroll, Wayne Carroll, Melvin Carroll, Josie Morris, Judy Gober, and Alma Crowley.
