Margaret Jo Taber

JO TABER
Pinson, TN: Margaret Jo Frye Taber, age 87 passed away July 3, 2016 at Methodist Hospital of Germantown in Memphis.
She was born and reared in the Pinson Community of Madison County, the daughter of the late Richard Stacy Frye and Lela Webb Frye. She went to school in Madison Co. and graduated from Pinson High school. She worked for Townsend Lighting on Airway in Jackson for more than 25 years, where she was the manager. In 1972 she married James Kyle Taber and they made their home in Jackson and in 1985 they moved to Pinson were they lived ever since. Mr. Taber passed away on Dec. 1, 2000. Mrs. Taber was a member of the Eastern Star in Jackson and was also a member of the Pinson Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son Mike Mullis of Germantown, TN and two step daughters; Nancy Johnson of Jackson, TN and Norma Wallace of Russellville, AR, a sister; Dorothy Gary of Pinson, TN and a grandson Michael E. Mullis of Memphis.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dyer officiating and burial will follow in the Big Springs Cemetery in Pinson.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday.
