Margaret Blanton Patton was born on August 6, 1941 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Parvin Carter and Mary P. Dill Blanton.
On September 15, 1966, she was united in marriage to Ernest Lee Patton, who preceded his wife in death on September 1, 2012.
Mrs. Patton was self employed as a hairdresser. She was a member of Adamsville Freewill Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee and Savannah Art Guild. Margaret loved art and sharing it with others. She would enter many art shows where she would often win ribbons. Margaret was also a huge animal lover and loved her dogs and cat. She loved her family and was always willing to help them. She built a strong relationship with her nephew, Thomas, and thought of him as a brother.
Margaret Blanton Patton departed this life on October 4, 2022 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and 28 days.
She is survived by her nephews, Thomas Blanton, Billy Blanton, and James Hamm and niece, Linda Blanton.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Blanton Hamm; brother, Cletious Thomas Blanton; niece, Wanda Wilkins; and nephew, Carter Blanton.
