MARGARET MARLERwas born in Lynchburg, Tennessee on July 19, 1916 the daughter of the late Thomas Wilson and Marian Alice Parkes Pitts.On September 24, 1938 she was united in marriage to John Thomas Marler, who preceded his wife in death on May 28, 1986. Mrs. Marler was a retired first grade school teacher. She attended East End United Methodist Church. Mrs. Marler lived in Hardin County for 22 years and in Nashville, Tennessee prior to moving to Hardin County. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and quilting.Mrs. Marler departed this life on October 21, 2010 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 3 months and 2 days.She is survived by one daughter, Janice Cagle and her husband David of Savannah, Tennessee2 grandchildren, Brian and Anne Cagle and Kevin and Amy Cagle4 great grandchildren, Sam, Sarah, Ellie and Avery CagleIn addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Bolton and one brother, William Pitts.
