Margaret Rose Holmes Kinney, 77, of Memphis, died Saturday morning, May 20, 2006 at Wesley Highland Manor in Memphis.
The daughter of James A. and Bessie V. Bishop Holmes, she was born September 6, 1928 in Hickory Valley and lived in Memphis over 60 years. She was a homemaker and member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Memphis.
Graveside services were 1:00 PM Monday, May 22, 2006 at Bethany Cemetery near Whiteville with Rev. Matheny officiating.
She leaves a son, Ronald Kinney of Kissimmee, Fla.; one sister, Jaime Maupin of Memphis; two brothers, Joseph N. Holmes of Cullman, Ala. and Charles F. Holmes of Memphis; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
