Mrs. Welch passed away Saturday afternoon at Bolivar General Hospital.
The wife of Donald Lee Welch, who survives, she was a former waitress and sitter with the elderly. She previously had worked at WMHI and was the owner of the Game Room in Middleton. She was born to J. B. and Hazel Chiles Outland, both of whom preceded her in death, and lived in Hardeman County since 1972. Mrs. Welch wanted everyone to know that she loved them and would help them out if she could. She wanted people to know the saving grace of Christ and that everyone needs to know Christ. She was a member of Bolivar First Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors included three sons and their wives, Ronald Paul Angers, II (Annie) of Moss Point, Miss., Paul Wayne Garrett (LaCosta) of Bolivar and William Jason Garrett (Nicki) of Selmer; a daughter and her spouse, Sandy Garrett (Dana) of Olive Branch, Miss.; a sister, Nancy L. Sudbery of Middleton; two brothers, James B. and Donald E. Outland, both of Middleton; and nine grandchildren, Joshua Oaks, Valerie Renee Garrett, Michael Austin Garrett, Caroline Olivia Garrett, Patrick Wayne Garrett, Elijah Tyler Garrett, Waylon Wilbanks, Matthew and Mallory Howell. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Shannon Christine Angers in 1971.
