Services for Margaret Elaine Hanback, 76, Florence, AL, will be Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 3 pm at Railroad Methodist Church, Iron City, TN with Bobby Rich officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Monday, June 2, 2008 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Railroad Methodist Church. She died at E. C. M. Hospital, Florence, on Sunday, June 1, 2008 after an extended illness.A native of Wayne County, TN, she had worked at Genesco and retired from the Lauderdale County Board of Education and was a member of the Life Wise Group at E. C. M. Ms Hanback was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Sherman and Mary Elsie Thrasher Hanback and brothers, Ivan, Athen, W. C., and Talmadge Hanback.Survivors, brother, Norman (Sue) Hanback, Florence, sister, Carlene Rich, Iron City, TN, several nieces and nephews.
