Margaret Frances Burkhead
April 14, 1934 — February 21, 2009
She was born and reared in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late Tom and Susie Edminston Tweedy. She married Leonard Shelby Burkhead in the early 60’s. They lived in Jackson for five years and moved back to Chester County and made their home in the Montezuma Community and then on West Main in Henderson. She worked at Salant & Salant Mfg. for eight years.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Shelby Burkhead of Henderson; a son Charles Jines of Trenton; two daughters, Brenda and Mary Lousie; a brother, Chester Tweedy of Florida.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Tweedy and four sisters, Winnie Duncan, Gracie Tweedy, Estell Shultz and Billie Jean Tweedy.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Shelby Burkhead of Henderson; a son Charles Jines of Trenton; two daughters, Brenda and Mary Lousie; a brother, Chester Tweedy of Florida.
