Margaret Virginia Bell Daniel

Margaret Virginia Bell Daniel, age 87, of Iron City, TN, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025. She was born on February 5, 1937 in Collinwood, TN, she was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond T. and Virginia Louise Todd Bell.

Margaret's life was beautifully intertwined with her deep love for family and faith. She found her soulmate in Floyd C. “Neal” Daniel, whom she married on April 13, 1956. Their union was a testament to love, and though Neal preceded her in death on August 6, 2002, the beautiful memories they created together continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew them.

A devoted member of the Wayne County Bible Center, Margaret was a woman of faith who spent her days immersed in the scriptures and praying for her cherished family. Her devotion to her loved ones extended beyond her prayers; she expressed her love through her passions. In her leisure time, Margaret found joy in sewing and playing the piano, filling her home with warmth and creativity.

Margaret was also a big supporter of the Tennessee Volunteers, and there was nothing quite like the thrill of watching the Lady Vols play basketball.

She is survived by her daughter, Juliana Daniel Johnson (Tommy) of Waynesboro, TN; brother, David Bell (Elaine) of Hohenwald, TN; sister, Valerie Bell Sharp (Raymond) of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Johnson Kelly (Jason) of Waynesboro, TN, Sarah Elizabeth Johnson Norris (Joshua) of Muscle Shoals, AL, Susan Louise Johnson Rhodes (Mitchell) of Linden, TN; and great grandchildren, Ayden Thomas Brewer, Ava Elizabeth Kelly, Adyn Norris, Kincade Norris, and Luke Johnson Rhodes. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Joshua Norris and Susan Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
