Born December 15th, 1945. Gained her wings August 7th, 2022.
Preceded in passing by husband, Randy Jones (June 7th, 2009) of Jackson, TN; father, Johnny Nelson of Texas; mother, Barbara Hopper Nelson of California; father-in-law, T.J. Jones of Selmer, TN; mother-in-law, Johnnie Scott Jones of Finger, TN.
Survived by: her loving sister Dee Nelson; two devoted daughters Gina Jones Uher (and Kevin Uher) along with Tina Jones Long (and Kevin Allen); her beloved grandson Jacob Bryan; plus many step-grandkids and great-grandkids.
There was no obstacle she could not overcome and no burden that she could not carry. Now, she is peacefully at rest. No more obstacles to conquer and no more burdens to bear. We celebrate her life.
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Sunday, August 14 at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Crook Avenue Chapel with private family burial in Estes Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Crook Ave Chapel from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday.
It was Mardy’s wish that no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, please send any gifts of love as donations to the North Jackson Church of Christ, Jackson, TN in her memory.
