Marcus Junior Smith

June 5, 1935 — November 3, 2013

Junior Smith was born June 5, 1935 in Henderson, Tn the son of the late Mark and Margie Cupples Smith. He attended school in Chester County and had been a contractor since the early 1970's developing Smith Subdivision, Chaning Cove, and several homes at Pine Lake. He was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Sweetlips, Tennessee and a member of the Pine Lake Association. He also enjoyed all sports and traveling. He was united in marriage to Brenda Kay Pickett on April 15, 1981.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Kay (Pickett) Smith of Lexington, TN; two daughters, Sherry Cox and husband Bret of Christiana Tn, Donna Herrick and husband David of Hixson Tn; two stepsons Bryan Isbell and wife Debbie of Henderson and Brad Isbell and wife Melissa of Lexington Tn. sister, Vadeen Reddin and husband Max of Henderson, Tn; five grandchildren, Jack Herrick, Freedom Herrick, Chance Isbell, Braden Isbell and Alex Cochran. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by two sisters, China Mae Strain, Wilner Young.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM November 5, 2013 at the Sweet Lips Cemetery in Henderson, Tennessee with Bro. Randy Morris officiating.
