Marcus Brady (Buddy) Jobewas born in Corinth, Mississippi on September 4, 1929 the son of the late Clarence Ketchum and Nelle Brady Jobe.On December 23, 1953 he was united in marriage to Thressia (Tess) Barnes, who survives.Mr. Jobe was a veteran of the U. S. Army were he was a Paratrooper. He went on to be a restaurant owner and contractor. Mr. Jobe was a member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the first football team at Northeast Community College, an avid sportsman winning the Catfish Derby of 1955.Mr. Jobe departed this life on Friday, January 2, 2009 at the age of 79 years, 3 months, 29 days.In addition to his wife, Mr. Jobe is survived by a daughter: Suzanne Wall and husband David of Corinth, Mississippi; son : Brady Jobe of Corinth, Mississippi; 2 sisters: Edith Harms of Knoxville, Tennessee and Bobbie Ann Greene and husband A.G. of Corinth, Mississippi.
