Manley Boyd

Manley Boyd of Selmer, Tennessee, was born on November 26, 1930, the son of the late David Taft and Pauline Gage Boyd. He worked for Brown Shoe Company for 24 years and then General Electric Company for 15 years until he retired. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church and Selmer Masonic Lodge 743.Mr. Boyd passed from this life on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer at the age of 76 years and 6 months.Survivors are his wife Geri Boyd and his son Craig Boyd and wife Mechille, all of Selmer; three grandchildren: Jennifer Boyd of Adamsville, Tennessee, Cassie Boyd of Selmer and Deon Ipock of Helenwood, Tennessee; two sisters: Mildred Ashe and Paulette Rippie and husband Clifford, all of Selmer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
