Mamie Qualls

Mamie (Cotton) Quallswas born in Waterloo, Alabama on February 19, 1936 the daughter of the late Oscar Sr. and Lillian Vertie Northcutt White.She was united in marriage November 1954 to S.P. Qualls, who preceded her in death March 1978.Mrs. Qualls departed this life on Thursday, January 2, 2009 at the age of 72 years, 10 months, 14 days.Mrs. Qualls is survived by 2 sons: Roger Joe Qualls of Gainesville, Florida and James Williams Qualls of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 daughters: Margaret L. Teeftaller, Mamie A. McClain, and Betty L. Qualls all of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 brothers: Jimmy Ray White, George Jerry White, and Oscar White, Jr. all of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sisters: Ruth Lewis of Water Valley, Mississippi and Mattie Perkins of Adamsville, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Qualls was preceded in death by a son: Benjamin Casey Qualls; a sister: Margaret Plunk; 3 grandchildren: John Joe Frasher, Keri Qualls, and William Qualls.
