Services for Malcolm Tatum, 89, Waynesboro, TN, will be Friday, March 31, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Michael Mathers officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Waynesboro, TN, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements



He died at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN on Thursday, March 30, 2006.



Mr. Tatum, a native of Perry County, TN, was a retired logger and drill operator with Vulcan Materials. He was of the Protestant faith and was a United States Army veteran of World War II.



Mr. Tatum was a son of the late William (Bill) and Ada Sharp Tatum and a brother of the late Howard, Hunter, Clemmie, Hollis, Bob, John, and Roxie Tatum, Nancy Crowell, and Minnie Jones.



He is survived by his wife of over fifty-eight years, Minnie Prater Tatum, daughter, Debra Tatum, brother, Walton Tatum all of Waynesboro, TN and sister, Martha Tatum of Tiptonville, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
