Memorial services for Malcolm Arnold Flippo, age 82, of River Bluff Drive near Clifton will be Five p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Phillips Chapel Church near Waynesboro with Joel Wallace and John Blackwell officiating. His remains were cremated.



Mr. Flippo died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at his home after an extended illness. He was born March 31, 1924 in Wayne County, a son of the late Jim and Delphia Riley Flippo. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a former employee of Murray Ohio in Lawrenceburg.



He is survived by his wife of 60 years Bertie Pulley Flippo of Clifton



Sons; Malcolm (Sonny) Flippo of Waynesboro and Robert Flippo of Perry County, TN; daughter; Patricia Anderson of Pikeville, TN



5 grandchildren; Philip Devers, Jim Flippo, Seth Flippo, Brandon Flippo, and Amy Flippo



Half-brother; W.I. Gifford and a half-sister; Rothie Nell (Dot) Lineberry Ray both of Kentucky
