Maggie Stinson, 72, of Bolivar, died Monday morning, December 12, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.



The wife of Billy G. Stinson, who survives, she was a sales person for Goldsmith’s Fine Jewelry in Memphis and Jackson. She was born August 16, 1933 in Hardeman County, daughter of Marie Lois Moss Ervin of Bolivar and the late Everett Ervin and lived most of her life in Shelby County before returning to Bolivar in 1994. She graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1952 and was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.



Services for Maggie Stinson, 72, of Bolivar, were 2 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Doug Baker officiating. Burial was in Parrans Chapel Cemetery.



In addition to her husband, whom she married December 21, 1955, and her mother, she is survived by one son, Wade Stinson of Springfield, MO; two brothers, Boyd Ervin of Bolivar and Larry Ervin of Brownsville; two grandchildren, Matthew Milloway of Springfield, MO and Jennifer Smith of Southaven, MS and two young great grandchildren, Hunter Milloway and Emma Smith. She was preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Ervin.
