Mrs. McGarrh passed away Thursday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of David McGarrh, who survives, she was a production worker at Troxel, Harmon, Kilgore and Lucerne. Mrs. McGarrh was born to the late Will Jackson and Cora Ann Bass Jackson and lived most of her life in Hardeman County. She lived for 6 to 7 years in Jackson and was a member of South Jackson Church of Christ and a past member of Bolivar Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, whom she married January 6, 1951, she is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Crouse of Jackson, Barbara Motley of Somerville, Betty King of Somerville; a brother, Madison Jackson of Memphis; two sisters, Zettie Baker of Selmer, Shirley Wilson of Bolivar; ten grandchildren, Ginger Stinson, Penny Wray, Jason Crouse, Shane German, Anthony German, Adam King; Scottie King; Kimberly King; Amy Maples; Ashley Shearin; and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mike McGarrh; two brothers, QT Jackson, Clayburn Jackson; four sisters Birdlee Brumbelow, Vadine Hawks, Colene Baker, Pearlie Ervin; and a grandson, Brandon German.
