Maggie Elnora Jackson

“Nanny” Maggie Elnora Turner Jackson



was born on July 7, 1929 in Savannah, Tennessee the daughter of the late John Elijah and Callie C. Bowen Turner.



On April 19, 1951 she was united in marriage to Odell Ray Jackson, who preceded his wife in death on April 27, 1990. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and a member of Center Hill Baptist Church.



She departed this life on December 18, 2005 at her home in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 11 days.



Mrs. Jackson is survived by 3 daughters: Patricia Jackson of Selmer, Debra Johnson of Selmer and Nila Phillips of Shiloh; a son, James Jackson of Corinth, Mississippi;



7 grandchildren: Chasity Johnson, Justin Phillips, Kristina Franks,

Kimberly Copeland, Autumn Winters, Billy Ray Jackson

and Nicholas Jackson;



8 great-grandchildren: Dusty Jordan, Elizabeth Holland, Brooklyn Holland,

Kassidy Jordan, Melody Copeland,

Katherine-Grace Winters, Gavin Phillips

and Victoria Winters;



and Great-Grandbaby-to-be Franks;



one brother, Owen Turner;

and three sisters: Elise Patterson, Marie Ramsey and Betty Knight.



In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jackson; a grandson, John Jordan and 8 brothers and sisters.
