Mae Cleo Worley
was born on May 4, 1927 in Lauderdale County, Alabama the daughter of the late Jesse Ruben and Linda Bell Swinford Qualls. She lived in Waterloo, Alabama until the age of five.
On January 19, 1943 she was united in marriage to Carrol E. Worley, who preceded her in death on April 14, 1987. Mrs. Worley retired from Savannah Manufacturing, where she worked as a “cut-off ladyâ€. She was also a member of Pyburn Union Church.
She departed this life on March 16, 2006 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 12 days.
Mrs. Worley is survived by 3 sons: James Larry Worley of Savannah, Tennessee, Michael Wayne Worley of Corinth, Mississippi and David Carrol Worley of Waverly, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren: Lori A. West, James L. Worley, Jr., Melissa Brownlee, Jonathan Dructor and Jennifer Dructor; and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Carrol, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Worley Hill, and 2 brothers: James Ruben Qualls and Lester Qualls.
