Mae Ruth Debell

Mae Ruth Michael Debell was born February 26, 1919 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Sam Turner and Ethel Hawkins Michael.Ms. Debell Graduated from Union University in 1944. She was a Retired school teacher of 34 years for the McNairy County Board of Education. A member of the McNairy County Retired Teacher Association, the McNairy County Regional Hospital Auxilian and the Eastern Star. A former member First Baptist Church of Selmer, Tennessee and a Current member of the West Jackson Baptist Church.Ms. Debell departed this life on June 27, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 4 Months, 1 Day.She is survived by a son, David Debell and wife Mary of Jackson, Tennessee; a brother, Glin Michael of Baltimore, Maryland; four half brothers, Samuel, Larry, Billy and Donald Michael; a granddaugther, Cathy Crawford of Somerville, Tennessee and 2 Great Grandchildren.In addition in to her parents, Ms. Debell is preceded in death by a son, Michael Debell; a sister, Larverne Michael; three brothers, Roy, Manuel and Thomas Michael; a half brother, Elton Michael.
