Mae Dean Burns

Mae Dean Roe Burns was born December 17, 1935 in Chester County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Noah Lee and Amy Bell Lampley Roe. She was married to Marvin Stevens in 1953 and was later maried to Donald Burns in 1963. Mrs.Burns was a Homemaker. She was a member of the Morris Chapel Baptist Church in Somerville. She had made her home in Memphis until moving to Whiteville Tennessee in 2004.



Mrs.Burns departed this life on March 19, 2010 in Somerville, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years.



She is survived by her husband Donald Ray Burns of Whiteville, TN; two daughters, Marvina Dean Saylors and husband Larry of Arlington, TN and Lee Ann Brown and husband Michael of Mason, TN; three sons, Bobby Stevens of Corinth, MS, Billy Stevens of Corinth, MS and Dana Stevens of Somerville, TN; two brothers, Edd Roe of Pasadena, TX, Billy Roe of Marshall, TX; six granddchildren, Ronnie Birmingham, Melissa Heck, April Hollis, Melissa Mankin, Larry Saylors, II and Melissa Byrd; six great grandchildren, Jessica Brasher, Brandi Birmingham, Ashley Birmingham, Maggie Heck, Drew West, Abigale Heck and a great-great-grandchild, Allisa Byrd.



In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Morris Chapel Baptist Church in Somerville, TN.
