Madge Lee Mosier Whitten was born March 28, 1915 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late David A. and Daisy Whitman Mosier.She was united in marriage to Charlie Whitten who preceded her in death.Mrs. Whitten was a homemaker and a member of the Rose Creek Sanctified Church.She departed this life on May 18, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 1 Month, 20 Days. Mrs. Whitten is survived by two daughters, Linda Goolsby and Norma Duke of both Selmer, Tennessee; six sons, Harold Whitten, Johnny Whitten, and J. W. Whitten all of Memphis, Tennessee, Jerry Whitten of Bartlett, Tennessee, Robert Whitten of Savannah, Tennessee and David Whitten of Oakland, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Judy Whitten of Oakland, Tennessee; two sisters, Jean Farley of Henderson, Tennessee and Judy Clayton of Selmer, Tennessee; two brothers, Buford Mosier of Henderson, Tennessee and Olus Mosier of Henderson, Tennessee; 23 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Whitten was preceded in death by a daughter, Ava Jenkins; son, Charles (Junior) Whitten; daughter-in-law, Nettie Whitten and sisters, Beatrice White and Mae Pounds.
