Finger, TN: Marion Mack Holmes age 63 passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at his home near Finger.
He was born in Chester County and raised in McNairy County the son of the late James Euther and Graple Maurine Johnson Holmes. He graduated from Bethel Springs High School in 1967. He worked in manufacturing for 30 plus years. He married Judy Richerson in 1990. He had made his home near Finger most of his life. Judy preceded in death in 2007. Mack worked at Piggly Wiggly for about 12 years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and University of Tennessee Sports fan. He attended Victory Baptist Church.
He is survived by two step sons, Donnie Gribbins of Radcliff, KY and Greg Sluder of Campbellsville, KY and a step daughter, Melissa Azbill of Henderson; six step grandchildren and one step great grandchild; two brothers, James Holmes of Mishawaka, IN and Jack Holmes of Jackson; five sisters, Inez Etheridge of Linden, Mozelle Crouse of Henderson, Wanna Faye Crouse of Finger, Darlene Reeves of Wichita, KA and Janice Crouse of Pinson and a special friend Judy Clayton of Finger.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Holmes, Tony Holmes and Donald Earl Holmes and a sister, Bonnie Hudson.
