Mable Faulkner Williams



was born on September 13, 1927 in Waterloo, Alabama, daughter of the late Samuel C. and Maude Fielder Faulkner.



On January 2, 1949 she was united in marriage to Vernon Boyd Williams who preceded her in death on May 17, 1974.



Mrs. Williams graduated from Waterloo High School in 1945 as the Valedictorian. She lived in Waterloo, Alabama until 1953 when she moved to Mishawaka, Indiana. She lived in Mishawaka until 2004. She moved to Crown Point, Indiana in 2004 and was living there until her death.



Mrs. Williams was a member of New Life Church in Osceola, Indiana. She was a Volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital Gift Shop in Mishawaka, Indiana.



She departed this life October 28, 2008 at the Wittenburg Lutheran Village in Crown Point, Indiana at the age of 81 years, 1month, and 15 days.



She leaves a daughter - Karen Hrapcak and her husband Rich of Crown

Point, Indiana



1 grandchild - Susan Hrapcak - New York, New York



1 sister - Lillian Austin and her husband Taylor of Killen, Alabama



2 brothers - Lawrence Faulkner and his wife Mary of Florence, Alabama

Beauford Faulkner and his wife Sheila of Trinity, Alabama



Sister in law - Agnes Benson - Atlanta, Georgia



Mrs. Willams was preceded in death by a brother Luther Faulkner.



Services were held Saturday November 1, 2008 at 11: 00 AM in the Shackelford Chapel with Don Harold Lawrence, burial in Scott Cemetery, Waterloo, Alabama. Pall bearers were: Rich Hrapcak, Wayne Austin, Sam Faulkner, Stanley Faulkner, Rodney Terry, and Jimmy Williams.
