Mable Lucille Henley Treadway, 96, departed this life on June 20, 2009 in Walnut, Mississippi.She was born June 28, 1912 in Fayette County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William Pinkney and Ethel Rankin Pinkley. She was united in marriage to George Newell Treadway on September 17, 1928. Mr. Treadway preceded her in death on May 10, 1996.Mrs. Treadway was a Press Operator at Somerville Manufacturing for eleven years and had worked at Parks School as a cook. She was a member of the Parks Chapel Methodist Church in Somerville, TN. and was involved with Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where she was raised with her family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she loved flowers, sewing, and cooking. She lived in Fayette County all her life.She is survived by four daughters, Frances (Treadway) Gabbard of Walnut, MS, Mable Parks of Somerville, TN, Shirley (Treadway) Demby of Memphis, TN, Yvonne (Treadway) Calhoun of Bolivar, TN; a son, Fred Treadway of Somerille, TN; two sisters, Marie Wiles of Somerville, TN, Doris Johnson of Memphis, TN; 11 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 14 Great Great Grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Treadway was preceded in death by a son, Larry Treadway; four sisters and four brothers.
