Mable Lee Davis

Mable Lee Smotherman Davis was born August 8, 1931 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late Huey Robert and Abree Davis Smotherman. Mrs. Davis worked in patient healthcare for many years. She departed this life on September 25, 2022 in Lawrenceburg, TN at NHC Scott Healthcare at the age of 91 years, 1 month, and 17 days.

She is survived by a son, Ricky Davis and wife Lynette; two daughters, Pam Littrell and husband Chris, and Pat Castleman and husband John; a sister, Clara Haddock, all of Waynesboro, TN; four grandchildren, William Blake Davis and wife Kayla, Devin Kirk, Andrea Reeves, and Johnny Castleman and wife April; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Davis Jr.; special companion, Larry Cummings; three brothers, Wilburn Smotherman, Pete Smotherman, and James "Buddy" Smotherman; and three sisters, Carmie Morgan, Margaret Long, and Eileen Smotherman.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm the Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Collinwood, TN with William Blake Davis and Chris Littrell officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
