MABEL LABRANTwas born in Hindman, Kentucky on March 15, 1926 the daughter of the late Tom and Ellen Fitzpatrick Fugate.On May 4, 1970 she was united in marriage to Michael LaBrant, who preceded his wife in death on May 1, 2011. Mrs. LaBrant was a waitress for The Ranch House in Cocoa, Florida. She has lived in Hardin County for 6 years and lived for 20 years in Brevard County, Florida. Mrs. LaBrant was very family oriented, she loved cooking and caring for her family. She departed this life on January 14, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 30 days.Mrs. LaBrant is survived by one daughter, Benita Burne and husband Tom of Portland, Oregonone son, Bill Queen and wife Barbara of Indianaseveral grandchildren and great grandchildren3 sisters, Polly Riddle of Avilla, Indiana, Marie Charles and Cleo Vester, both of Paris, Tennesseeone brother, Tom Fugate of Lake Zurich, IllinoisIn addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Roger Queen and Kenny Queen, one daughter, Faye Solomon, one grandchild, Candy Queen, one sister, Rebecca McCarthy and 4 brothers, Paul, Johnny (J. E.), Arvil and Ardith Fugate.
