Mabel Estelle Bryant

Mrs. Bryant passed away early Tuesday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late John Avent and the late Nellie Lax Avent Earnest. She married Bobby Bryant, Sr. on June 15, 1946 and he passed away March 2, 1988. She was a member of the Milan United Pentecostal Church and retired in 1992 as a cook at Pine Meadows (formerly known as "Care Inn") Nursing Home in Bolivar.
She leaves two daughters, Judy Carol King of Bolivar and Glenda Watkins of Summerfield, FL; two sons, Ronnie Bryant of Bolivar and John Bryant of Olive Branch, MS; three sisters, Frankie Novay and Lois, both of Memphis, and Nell Marie Smith of Southaven, MS; two brothers, Bruce Avent of Bolivar and Roy Avent of Horn Lake, MS; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Terry, Bobby, Jr. and Joe Bryant; and a sister, Dorothy Triagel.
