Lynn David Wood

Mr. Lynn David Wood was born October 3, 1953 in Binghamton, NY the son of Shirley Finch Hastings and the late James Hastings. Mr. Wood was a Technician working in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, but can be remembered as a jack of all trades. He was a member of the Forty-Eight Creek Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was united in marriage to Brenda Parsons on May 22, 1993. Mr. Wood departed this life on April 5, 2021 in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 6 Months, 2 Days.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Brenda Wood of Waynesboro, TN; two daughters, Bobby-Jean Parsons (Shannon Dale Brown) of Waynesboro, TN, Sue Lee-Ann Wood of Waynesboro, TN; his siblings, Gary Wood (Tonya), William Wells (Meredith), Donna Hornberger (Martin), Judy Acree, Kathy Dempsey (Don), Robert Hastings, Kevin Andrews and Rick Hastings (Teri). and five grandchildren, Colton Michael Kinter, Richard David Parsons, Edward Scott Parsons, Lily Jase Wood, Lance Cooper Street;

In addition to his father, Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Samuel Acree, an uncle Author Wood and his grandparents Howard and Myrtle Finch.

Mr. Wood's wishes were to be cremated. No public services are being held at this time.
