Lydia Faye Bratcher

Services for Lydia Faye Bratcher, age 68, Collinwood, TN will be Monday, August 6, 2007 at 3 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge. Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2007 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Monday, August 6, 2007 from 9 am until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Bratcher died Saturday, August 4, 2007 at ECM Hospital, Florence, AL after an extended illness.



A native of Collinwood, TN, Mrs. Bratcher was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Houston Holt, her husband, James Edward Bratcher, and grandson, Colby Michael Bratcher.



Survivors, son, James Michael (Melinda) Bratcher, Cypress Inn, TN; daughters, Beverly Kay (David) Stone, Waterloo, AL, Cynthia Dawn (Chris) Caperton, Collinwood; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jake Stone, Taylor and Preston Caperton, Hayden Bratcher; mother, Pearl Newborn Holt, Waynesboro, TN; brothers, Charlie J., Johnny, Billy Wade, and Bobby Ray Holt, all of Collinwood; sisters, Mary Lou Sherrill, Collinwood, Alice Holt, Cypress Inn, TN; several nieces and nephews.
