Mr. Alexander passed away Friday evening, August 8, 2008. at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Frances Rush Alexander, who survives, he worked in the meat department of Wal-Mart in north Jackson and was a butcher with Big Star and Piggly Wiggly. He was born to Luther Griffin Alexander and Lucy Iona Young Alexander, both of whom preceded him in death and lived all of his life here. Mr. Alexander was a member of First United Methodist Church of Silerton.
In addition to his wife, whom he married on December 11, 1966, survivors include two daughters, Audrey Alexander Keller and Adrienne Alexander Rimer, both of Toone; three sisters, Maye Allen of Bolivar, Faye Munn of Middleton and Nancy Cobb of Toone; and three grandchildren, Rachel and Brooke Keller and Griffin Rimer, all of Toone.
