She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Bessie Smith Watkins. She ws married to Ernest Lipford . She worked at Garan Sportswear, Salant & Salant and Leapwood Sportswear . She was married to William E. Moore in 1986. They made their home at Leapwood.
She is survived by her husband, William E. Moore; three sons, Leon Lipford of Selmer, Jimmy Lipford and Wayne Lipford both of Adamsville; four daughters, Shelia Jackson of Richmond Hill, GA, Deborah Killingsworth of Shiloh, Cathy Small of Lexington, and Lisa Massengill of Henderson; 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and a sister Della Sue Black of Saltillo.
Preceded in death by two daughters, Doris Hopper and Rose Burkhead, a brother Leonard Watkins and a sister Lura Hampton.
