Lula Martin

Mrs. Lula Mae Martin departed this life on Monday, March 28, 2016 Southern TN Regional Health Systern in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 95 Years, 9 Months, 12 Days. She was born June 16, 1920 in Cypress Inn, TN the daughter of the late Wiliam Thomas and Annie Beulah Jenkin Martin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by brothers, John Martin, Jack Martin, Taylor Martin and Henry Martin, sister, Lela Rutherford, and half sisters, Ada Martin and Corie Keeton .

She was united in marriage to Claude Henry Martin on May 19, 1935. Mr. Martin preceded her in death on November 19, 1984.

Mrs. Lula was a homemaker and retired factory worker . She was a member of the State Line Church .

She is survived by a sister, Lena Stults and husband Leon of Iron City, TN;
special nephew, Carl Stults of Iron City, TN, special niece, Debra StultsYocom and husband Allen of Lawrenceburg, TN, several other nephews and nieces.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bobby Rich and Edward Burbank officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery , Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 28, 7:00-9:00 pm and on Tuesday, March 29, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN.
