Lula Belle Andrews Kuehn Stricklin of Waynesboro, TN was born July 8, 1918 in Wayne Co., TN, the daughter of the late John Daniel and Nancy Jane Andrews. She was united in marriage to Victor Kuehn and following his death, she married James Franklin Stricklin, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stricklin was a retired merchant and a member of the Mt. Hope Methodist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
Mrs. Stricklin departed this life on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 7 Months, 21 Days.
She is survived by a son, Daniel E. Kuehn and wife, Mary of Waynesboro, TN; stepson, Donald Stricklin of Smyrna, TN; step-daughters, Dorothy Pollock of Nashville, TN and Sue Skimehorne of Waynesboro, TN; five grandchildren; twelve step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nineteen step-great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Stricklin was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Butler and husband, Paul David; a stepson, Billy Stricklin; a step-grandson, Dale Skimehorne; and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobbie Martin and Owen Stricklin officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Jeff Kuehn, Danny Kuehn, Steve Kuehn, Mark Stricklin, Mike Stricklin, David Skimehorne, Jonathan Prince, and Kyle Prince.
